Do I have to rewrite my application to migrate?
Not the text side: Chat Completions and Responses clients change base URL to https://api.oneaster.ai/v1; Messages and Gemini clients use https://api.oneaster.ai and keep their own path prefixes. Media generation uses the async /v1/tasks API with per-run quotes.
How is billing different?
Reserve-the-quote, settle-confirmed-usage, release-the-rest — per task, in a ledger you can export and reconcile. New accounts receive a welcome credit; the amount is set by the platform.
Which models can I run today?
A curated, verified catalog: text, image, video, audio and embeddings, each with published parameters, limits and prices. It is far smaller than Replicate’s library and grows continuously — that is the trade we make for verified listings.
Is OneAster production-ready?
New platform, v0.7.x. Built in: acceptance gates, idempotency keys, settlement reconciliation, public status telemetry. If you need a long tail of community model versions today, Replicate has it; we do not pretend otherwise.
